Silica (and) Dimethicone
Has a particle size of: 6.5-8.5. Excellent application for: loose powder, smoothness, soft focusing effect, and sebum control. Optimal usage for: pressed powder, liquid formulations, moulage performance and adhesiveness. It’s a mineral that is used in a wide variety of cosmetics and skin care products due to its multi-functioning nature as an an abrasive, anti caking agent, opacifying agent and suspending agent.
Talc (and) Methicone
It’s used in the formulation of makeup, baby powder, body powder and deodorizing powder. In body applications, Talc absorbs moisture and oil, helping skin feel soft, fresh, cool and dry. It also reduces friction and chafing that can irritate skin.
Mica (and) Dimethicone
Has a particle size of: 23-26. Excellent application for: loose powder. Optimal usage for: pressed powder, liquid formulations, moulage performance and adhesiveness. It’s acts as a reflective component in cosmetics. It helps give a more youthful, softer look when applied due to the way it reflects light away from any visible wrinkles or lines in the skin.
